Chilly days at the farm

Worked on the CC farm yesterday for a few hours. We helped put the beds to sleep and discovered some valiant spinach with a lust for life that apparently lived through the snow of last week and the 30 degree weather that we were out in yesterday! Maybe I will make some pesto out of it this week. Also got to hang out with the chickens a little. It's crazy how cuddly they get when it's cold outside! Maybe I'll come away with an egg or two this week as well.
